The Study Of Common Words Of The Conceptual Domain Of "Look" In Shanxi Yangcheng Dialect

Looking is a very common and important daily activity for human beings to understand the things around them.The conceptual framework of “making eye contact with people or things” constitutes the conceptual domain of “looking”.From the perspective of conceptual domain theory,this paper uses conceptual element analysis to analyze the members of the conceptual domain of “looking” in Yangcheng dialect,analyzes and compares their internal differences,and reveals the characteristics of Yangcheng dialect vocabulary.First of all,according to the different semantic emphasis,we divide the upper conceptual domain of “looking” into six lower conceptual domains: the conceptual domain of “looking with the eyes” in the general sense;the conceptual domain of “looking from a distance”;the conceptual domain of “seeing”;the conceptual domain of “looking at blaming”;the conceptual domain of “looking carelessly”;and the conceptual domain of “sneaking a peek”.The conceptual structure of the members of the lower conceptual domain is analyzed by the method of conceptual element analysis,and the difference between different sememes in expressing a concept is investigated.Secondly,it analyzes the differences of the members of the conceptual domain of “look” in Yangcheng dialect between different villages and towns from the two aspects of semantics and grammar.Thirdly,it analyzes the changes of the meaning of the archaic words in the conceptual domain of “look” in Yangcheng dialect.Finally,draw a conclusion.The members of the conceptual domain of “look” in Yangcheng dialect are mainly monosyllabic words,and there are a small number of disyllabic words combined with the affixes of “Ge”.Semantically,the affixes of “Ge” means that the action is short or continuous.Yangcheng dialect retains many archaic words.It has many ancient Chinese components.In the historical development,some of them have retained the ancient meaning,while others have strengthened or changed some conceptual elements on the basis of retaining the ancient meaning.In addition,Yangcheng dialect has a high degree of semantic subdivision,and when expressing a certain action concept,it will choose different verb collocations according to the characteristics of the action object.There are great differences in Yangcheng dialect.
