In this rapid development of civilization times,the China of time-honored brands face a dilemma.As everyone knows that time-honored brands carry our country’s long historical civilization,inherit the value and meaning of cultural heritage,the product " Ya Shuang" praised as "Beauty Dressing Table Good Companion" bearing the development of a hundred years regardless of any hardship and moving steadily forward with traditional culture and unique concept.Meanwhile,the "Ya Shuang" brand also continuously exudes the fascinating charm of the new era.Indeed,the fast-paced economic development makes Time-honored brands face much more difficulties,which render "Ya Shuang" products facing the same problem as above.How to make the brand image free from the traditional shackles,add colorful brand cultural characteristics,and increase the brand’s time-to-date creative ability allows the brand to achieve a long-lasting brand,which is a problem that the brand needs to figure out.This thesis explores the brand symbols integrated into the Shanghai-style cultural characteristics,seeking specific design methods and strategies to enrich its connotation and enhance the brand texture.At the same time,it also provides a solution for the brand image design of "time-honored" cosmetics and expands its practical significance for the progress of Shanghai-style cultural theory.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is about a mass of research are collected to sorting out concepts and theories that cited for reference,from theories guide into practice,thereby achieve quickly for outline and context of the whole thesis and conclude the scheme of brand design suitable for the development of the "Ya Shuang" product according to the actual situation.The second part elaborates explicitly the relevant theories used in this paper elaborates the basic concepts and related content of semiotics and Shanghai culture also analyzes and studies excellent cases,seeks valuable design experience,and take advantage of reference from optimized cases,which use to redesign the brand image of "Ya Shuang".The third part is devoted to specific field research focusing on the brand’s status,local culture,and various competing products,making it solid practical support in design.The fourth part using semiotics and related theories of Shanghai-style culture to study the design strategy further for the design principles and design methods of Shanghai-style culture in the "Ya Shuang" brand from the perspective of semiotics,so that the next brand image design can carry out in an orderly and orderly manner.The fifth part is to sort out the design concept,design style,brand slogan,brand graphic design,illustration design,packaging design,office supplies design,and brand image of the "Ya Shuang" brand.Derivative design,and further expansion and application of Shanghai-style cultural symbols in design practice.
