| In recent 20 years,interpersonal pragmatics has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad.As a new pragmatic research field,it studies interpersonal relationships in communicative interaction,that is,how people use language to establish,maintain and enhance interpersonal relationships in the process of communication.Researchers have introduced and studied the research approaches,research contents,and research strategies of interpersonal pragmatics.With the development of the economy and society and improvement of people’s living standards,people pay more and more attention to their health.However,there is a certain gap between the allocation of medical resources and the level of medical services and people’s expectations,thus many problems in the doctor-patient relationship appeared.Based on this,this thesis investigates and analyzes doctor-patient communication from the perspective of interpersonal pragmatics,aiming to broaden the research scope of the doctor-patient relationship and provide new research topics for the study of interpersonal pragmatics.Researching on doctor-patient communication from the perspective of interpersonal pragmatics can provide scientific references and approaches for improving doctor-patient relationships to construct trust relationships and promote harmony between doctors and patients.The authenticity of data can ensure the credibility and generalizability of the research results.Thus 119 cases of medical conflicts are collected as data from a hospital rated as “A”in Second-Class hospitals.On this basis,it uses communication and trust between doctors and patients as topics to design and issue questionnaires,in which 296 are valid,and then the research data are described and analyzed.Finally,relevant concepts of the Rapport Management Theory are applied to analyze the reasons affecting the harmony of the doctor-patient relationship and corresponding suggestions are put forward to construct trust a relationship from the perspective of doctor-patient communication.The research has the following findings through data investigation and analysis: firstly,there are problems in current communication between doctors and patients.Many patients are not satisfied with the communication and service capabilities of medical staff.More than half of the patients do not fully trust medical staff during the medical treatment process.One of the important reasons for the tension and distrust between doctors and patients is the lack of communication skills and abilities of medical staff.Secondly,if the contents of Rapport Management Theory are violated in doctor-patient communication,that is,violation of management of face,violation of management of sociality rights and obligations and violation of management of interactional goals will lead to communication failure and damage doctor-patient harmonious relationship.Thirdly,mastering communication skills and building trust relationships is an important way to modify the current tense doctor-patient relationship and promote doctor-patient harmony.Based on the above findings,this thesis puts forward three suggestions from the perspective of doctor-patient communication to help establish trust relationships and promote the development of doctor-patient harmony: changing the communication style from paternalistic-oriented to partnership-oriented,ensuring the effectiveness of communication contents and adding communication skills training courses. |
