| In general,the traditional view about implicit memory is that implicit memory is a kind of unconscious automatic processing,and it is not able to affected by external stimuli.But recent studies have found a fact is that,at least under some certain conditions,extraction interference is able to still significantly destroy the priming effect in many implicit memory tests and produce a few extraction interference effect in implicit memory.However,based on the existing research,the mechanism of this interference effect is still not clear.And the same as,based on the initial research results,meng yingfang is the first and foremost people who proposed the hypothesis of perceptual representation competition,suggesting that the extraction interference effect of implicit memory possible to be caused by the fact that the memory components reflected by the implicit test task occupy the same memory representation system as the interference task,thus this leads to the competition of this memory system.But then mowgli Lin,in addition to the successive interference task paradigm stimulation on the perceptual representation of overlapping,despite the fact that still found the extract interference effect on the priming effect,rejected the perceptual representation competition hypothesis,at the same time put forward that the general assumption of cognitive resource competition,think that any variable settings can produce cognitive resources competition could cut or even destroy the implicit priming effect in the test.In order to explore the above problems,the classical learning-test paradigm was used in this study to investigate the relationship between extraction interference and implicit memory memory via setting interference task in the extraction phase.In experiment 1,vocabulary judgment task was used to verify whether the interference task in the extraction stage would damage the perceptual implicit memory.For the sake of investigate whether the extraction of implicit memory interference effect is the result of general cognitive resources competition or not,next I go on designing two sets of experiments,including experiment 2 and 3,experiment2,3 with the same paradigm,set different interference of the difficult tasks at the same time,then the results will show that the interference of different difficulty tasks are destroyed the priming effect,the extraction of implicit memory interference effect,and the interference of different difficulty task implict memory retrieval effect of interference did not differ significantly.The above results all show that,under some certain conditions,the extraction and processing of implicit memory will be affected by the interference task,showing a stable extraction interference effect,indicating that the extraction process of implicit memory needs certain attention resources.In addition,interfering tasks of high or low difficulty will have an impact on implicit memory,and there is no difference between high and low difficulty,which does not support the view of general cognitive resource competition. |
