A novel coronavirus pneumonia has transformed traditional offline education into online education on a large scale,and online education has become the mainstream trend of education."Internet+" education has demonstrated its tremendous advantages in breaking the limitations of teaching time and space,enriching teaching resources,improving teaching efficiency,and expanding the range of learners.However,due to the separation of teaching time and space and the transformation of teaching methods,online education has defects such as insufficient teacher-student interaction,insufficient teacher information literacy,lowered students’ learning motivation,and difficulties in teaching management.Compared with local teaching,international Chinese teaching is more severely impacted by the novel coronavirus pneumonia.The existence of thenovel coronavirus pneumonia has not only hindered the pace of international Chinese teachers to teach abroad,but also influenced the motivation of foreign students to learn Chinese.In this special period,how to maintain the vigor of the international Chinese language teaching career,build an efficient international Chinese "Internet+" classroom,and promote the promotion of Chinese and Chinese culture,poses new challenges to international Chinese teachers.On the one hand,novel coronavirus pneumonia provides new development opportunities for the online international Chinese language education,on the other hand,it also constitutes a major challenge for the development of international Chinese language education.Facts have proved that enhancing the attractiveness of international Chinese language teaching is an inherent motivation requirement for the sustainable development of international Chinese language education.Therefore,building an “ Internet+ ” efficient international Chinese language classroom has become the right direction for international Chinese teachers to strive for.Based on the current situation of the development of Chinese international education under the background of the new crown pneumonia epidemic,this article uses field observation,questionnaire survey and interview methods to study teachers and students who participated in the online Chinese teaching activities organized by the Thai Ministry of Education.And to study the current teaching situation of international Chinese teachers and Thai students under the online education conditions.Mainly through field observation method to observe the real classroom teaching status quo of teachers and students under the conditions of online education.Through the questionnaire method,we investigated and analyzed the basic situation of teachers and students,the teaching situation of teachers and students in the online education,the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the Educational attitudes and the attitudes of teachers and students towards online and offline hybrid teaching models.Later,through teacher-student interviews,we can further understand the thoughts of Chinese teachers and Thai students in the online educational activities organized by the Thai Ministry of Education,and also contributed to the proposal of the online efficient classroom construction strategy.Finally,combining the results of field observations,questionnaire surveys and interviews,from the four levels of teachers,students,teaching management,and teaching methods,a specific strategy for constructing an efficient Chinese international online classroom is proposed,hoping to provide some feasible suggestions for the development of Chinese international education in the new era.
