Abstract/Summary:
Fidelio is an operatic work by the German composer Ludwig van Beethoven(1770-1827)that took ten years(1804-1814)to compose.The theme is selected from Leonora or Love of Couples,a popular rescue novel by French writer Jean Nicholas Bouilly.As the only operatic work of Beethoven,Fidelio is endowed with multiple spiritual connotations and occupies a unique position in the history of music.This paper,based on the perspective of "heroism",takes the opera Fidelio as the research subject,and focuses on the analysis and discussion of the origin of the thought of heroism and its embodiment in the work,in order to interpret the connotation of heroism reflected in the opera.The full text is divided into four chapters,the research content involves the connotation of heroism,the origin of Beethoven’s heroism thought and the specific presentation of the connotation of heroism in his works.The introduction part attempts to comb the research results of the opera Fidelio and explore the spiritual connotation of opera.At the same time,it analyzes the content of the research on heroism in artistic creation,in order to interpret the significance of heroism,so as to provide a meaningful reference for the research on opera heroism.The first chapter traces the origin of the heroism of the opera Fidelio,mainly interprets the connotation of heroism,traces the origin of Beethoven’s heroic thoughts from his social times and life experiences,and summarizes the content and situation of the opera at the same time,laying a theoretical foundation for the writing of the paper.The second chapter,under the influence of the French revolution,"hero",mainly discusses the generated under the influence of the French revolution hero of thought and its embodiment in the opera works,including the core of the military marching style music materials,instrumental music and opera chorus performance of hero sexual characteristics that is contained in my hero timely mental,To reveal the significance of the era of the connotation of opera heroism;Chapter 3 personal pursuit of "hero",mainly through to the aria of male,the female protagonist’s heroic image and drama matting and dramatic conflict still my detailed analysis,combined with the lyrics and melody,rhythm,harmony,tonality,instruments,action,etc,the relationship between the content of this opera in human hero concept,To establish Beethoven’s heroic thought of the super-era characteristics;On the basis of the first three chapters,the fourth chapter,combining the "freedom worship" and "revolutionary rebellion" as well as the "love belief of the ’little man’" and the "idea of equality between men and women" embodied in the opera Fidelio,proposes that the heroic connotation embodied in the opera has the double dimension of the characteristics of The Times and the super-times.In fact,the movement process of heroic concept is dynamic,developing and changing.Beethoven’s heroic connotation has been gradually enriched with The Times and experiences,and presented in the opera Fidelio in the form of the combination of music and narrative.Based on the specific historical and profound text,through the relationship between music and ideas in the opera,opera works hero sexual connotation,based on the composer,the double dimension of conception and implementation of the hero about sex,so as to further realize the Beethoven hero characterization provide specific reference to the significance of reconstruction,which is the research meaning of this article.
