Kant's Critique of Pure Reason is a classic in the history of western philosophy,in which,Kant did not only summarize and criticize former epistemology, but also raised creative and instructive theory so as to come out the predicament of empiricism and rationalism, and so he has changed the overall development direction and process of western philosophy. This thesis has made a detailed interpretation of the first version and the second version of transcendental deduction, and the similarities and differences between them were analyzed and compared. There are two concepts that are crucial in transcendental deduction and their importance is not only reflected in the category of transcendental deduction, but also in the whole Critique of Pure Reason. These two concepts are Transcendental Apperception and Transcendental Imagination.Thereinto,Transcendental Apperception is a core of transcendental deduction. The understanding of the Transcendental Apperception is directly related to the comprehension of transcendental deduction even the understanding of Critique of Pure Reason. This thesis reviews the proposed of Transcendental Apperception, connotation and its significance.Transcendental Imagination is the medium of sensibility and intellectuality, which is the key to our understanding of the world and the key to the Human Being Making Law for Nature. In this sense,Transcendental Imagination is a key to understand the critique of pure reason;Perhaps it is for this reason that transcendental imagination has become the vaguest conception in the critique of pure reason,in this way,it has become a starting point in the philosophical development of successors. Finally, this thesis makes some discussion on this issue.
