| The Dazu Rock Carvings,Shimen Mountain,was excavated in the Southern Song Dynasty.It has a unique artistic form.eighth grotto peacock Mingwang Grotto has a rigorous overall layout,a symmetrical structure,rich content,and exquisite carvings.Craftsmen used the natural environment to perform arts in accordance with their aptitude,unifying religious rituals with the aesthetic ideals of the Southern Song Dynasty,and carefully created eighth grotto with superb skills and rich imagination,which aroused the aesthetic associations of the audience.The grotto is a product of Tantrism,creating mysterious and unpredictable plot scenes in the solemn and solemn atmosphere.From these statues,the folk beliefs and aesthetic characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty Bashu area can be unearthed.This article will mainly analyze eighth grotto of Shimenshan from the perspective of Morris’ s semiotic theory,Semantics,Syntactics,and Pragmatics.Firstly,it discusses the origin of eighth grotto of Shimen Mountain,revealing the social environment,aesthetic thoughts,religious beliefs of the Dazu area in the Southern Song Dynasty.Through the Denotation and Connotation of symbols,I find out the rich artistic symbols of eighth grotto of Shimen Mountain,and analyze their Signifier and Signified,as well as the use of semantic functions to interpret the aesthetic function,enlightenment meaning,symbolic value,and practical value of eighth grotto;secondly,the research method of syntactics is used to explore the constitute method and aesthetic concept of eighth grotto,How does the craftsman use the geographical environment and originality to make the caves artistic and scientific.At the same time,it analyzes the decorative patterns of the niches and analyzes the expression level and the signification level represented by each symbol in the eighth grotto in detail through the expression techniques of these artistic symbols.Using theories of Combination and Paradigmatic,deconstruct the meaning of each symbol,so as to understand the hidden creative methods and creative thinking,and play the role of decomposition research.Through the horizontal and vertical comparison,it is explored that the beliefs generated by different ethnic groups have their commonalities and their own characteristics in the generation of contexts.The selected worship objects are closely related to their living environment and aesthetic concepts,and summarize the art of the Peacock Mingwang in different regions and different eras Features;once again understand the communication and propagation of eighth grotto channels from pragmatics,study the application and interpretation of symbols,including the decoding of customary conventions between the craftsman and the audience,the propagation process and methods of symbols;finally excavate eighth grotto artistic symbols The aesthetic characteristics,explore the personalized sense of decorative form in eighth grotto,fully present the essence of Chinese culture and the beauty of the golden mean in the line of sight,embodying the ethereal beauty of "quietness and harmony".The craftsman pays attention to arrangement,harmony,and balance in the design of niches,and uses colorful storylines to express a vigorous,energetic,solemn and quiet visual effect. |
