Research On The Effectiveness Of Network Intelligent Learning Platform In Improving Senior High School Students’ English Writing Ability

Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China has repeatedly proposed and emphasized that teachers should adhere to the development of students’ core literacy and the people-oriented educational philosophy.The General High School English Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)also pointed out that training students’ core literacy in English subjects is the specific goal of the general high school English curriculum and an important teaching direction that the majority of English teachers must resolutely implement.Among them,English writing ability plays a significant role in the cultivation of students’ English core literacy.It is also a necessary basic skill in English learning.With the continuous development of our country’s economy,network intelligent teaching has gradually entered the classroom,playing an important role in improving teaching efficiency.Based on the national educational science project,this paper studies the effectiveness of the network intelligent learning platform in improving the English writing ability of high school students,and discusses the following two questions:(1)Does the online intelligent learning platform improve students’ interest in writing?(2)Does the online intelligent learning platform improve students’ writing ability? What are the specific aspects?The theoretical bases of this research are Language Input and Output Hypothesis Theory,Constructivism Teaching Theory,and Memes Theory.The research objects are two regular classes of one middle school in Guiyang City,Guizhou Province,with a total of 94 students.The study duration is one semester.The research tools are Ant Conc3.5.8(corpus software),Iwrite(composition score analysis software),composition test,interview and questionnaire survey.Through the use of the network intelligent learning platform in class and after class to assist students in English writing teaching,comparative analysis of the experimental data,the research conclusions are as follows:1.The network intelligent learning platform has improved students’ interest in writing.2.The network intelligent learning platform improves students’ writing ability.It is embodied in the following aspects:(1)The ability of understanding English composition background materials has been improved.(2)The abilities of using English words and writing English sentences has been improved.(3)The ability of writing some better English compositions.
