China has a profound cultural heritage and a long history.Even in today’s modernization,it still edifies and affects us in a way consistent with the flavor of the times.As the carrier of traditional culture,historical figures should be remembered and inherited by this generation.With the continuous development of politics,economy and culture in China in recent years,animation and secondary elements rise rapidly,social and cultural prosperity and tolerance become higher,the society is gradually suitable for the growth of IP design industry,and IP is also widely welcomed by the public.Therefore,it is necessary to spread traditional culture through the IP of historical figures.This topic mainly takes "Bi Ye" IP design as an example to explore the historical figures and the historical and cultural development behind them into excellent IP.The original intention and purpose of "Bi Ye" IP is to better spread printing culture to people.In the design,it mainly focuses on the combination of printing culture and modern things,the design conforms to the image loved by modern people,and makes expression bags that meet the daily communication use.So that the excellent printing culture can be inherited while "Bi Ye" IP spreads.This thesis mainly expounds the origin of the idea of "Bi Ye" IP image,and the whole process of thinking,design and drawing.The first chapter discusses the research background,purpose,value,significance,research methods,key and difficult points of historical figure IP image design,taking "Bi Ye" as an example.The second chapter mainly arranges the development trend of IP market at home and abroad,analyzes excellent IP cases at home and abroad,and provides ideas for the cultural product design of "Bi Ye" IP.The third chapter is the key chapter of this thesis,which focuses on the design idea of "Bi Ye" image designed by Bi Sheng and the integration and application of Northern Song Culture in the overall IP image.Determined the final "Bi Ye" IP image.The fourth chapter mainly expounds the design ideas of three series of IP extension works,and the design ideas of cultural and creative products.The last chapter is the sorting and summary of the topic of "Bi Ye" IP image design and the thesis.It also looks forward to the follow-up development of "Bi Ye" IP and the development direction of domestic IP design.
