Modern Graphic Design In The Printing Process Factors

Printing engineering is only one of the many factors affecting the quality of graphic design. There seems be no relations between graphic design and printing engineering, with the former falling into the category of art design and the latter into engineering technology. However, they are very closely related, as contemporary graphic design is usually used for printing with mechanical equipments with the purpose of conveying and spreading information, while printing engineering is one of the tools as well as a media for the conveyance and spreading of information. This paper first studies the interrelationship and interactions between the techniques used in each phase of printing engineering and graphic design, and then explores the way of promoting the innovation and development of graphic design with printing engineering. Qualitative analysis is applied as the study method in the paper. After systematically expounding the theories related to graphic design and printing engineering, this paper digs into each stage in the implementation of graphic design and printing engineering and, on that basis, summarizes the feasible and practical methods, experiences and trains of thinking associated with the implementation. Besides, this paper uses related theories to guide real work; Last, this paper also projects the future development of contemporary technology, new concepts and new trends, enabling design to reflect current vogue from the perspective of humanities, science and technology. The intersection of disciplines inevitably renders new prospects and insights. This paper further promotes the development of the theories in this discipline on the strength of a clear train of thought it has sorted out in the complicated relationship between graphic design and printing engineering. At the same time, solve some practical problem, promotes the whole industry level in some extent. If designers can get some conclusion about the relationship between graphic design and printing engineering by studying, then they can take good advantage of all the new materials and new technology, combine the art design and modern technology perfectly.
