| The main purpose The point of departure of this paper is the theory of posthumanism thoughts, and the research text is science fiction films since the new century. It attempts to face the impact of technologicalization on body shape and pays attention to the changes in the concept of body under post-humanism in the meantime. The combination of the body and sci-fi images in post-humanism will inevitably promote the new development of sci-fi movies. In the new century science fiction films, the body is not only the main object of artistic representation, but also the key pivot for understanding this type of film. The film introduces massive elements such as body reorganization and genetic engineering, and consciously arranges and combines them with the soul, mind, and spirit, and finally presents countless non-human species. The post-humans use the existing advanced media-machines to express the existence of post-human beings, which promotes the common mightiness of human beings and technology, but also leads to human beings’ concerns that technology will trump up a countercharge against their acuser. The first part of this paper puts the body problem in science fiction films into the field of post-humanism theory and discusses the feasibility of combining science fiction films and post-human somaesthetics along with analyzing the relevant concepts in the thesis. The second part mainly analyzes the picture of the post-human body, how the body is subdivided into the brain and the body in science fiction movies, and studies the combination of organs and consciousness, body and body shape, and how they bring about a technological crisis for mankind in the machine age. What kind of desires and demands do aesthetic subjects have in science fiction movies? How intimate desires and anxiety are transformed into step-by-step breakthroughs in technology and the incarnation of robot shapes, and what kind of aesthetic activities the body has in watching movies. The third part tends to study the post-human body representation as an aesthetic object in the construction of film time and space, and the possibility of the future body and media being combined into one.The last part explores the aesthetics of self and alien body in sci-fi movies. In sci-fi movies,we realize self-awareness and transcend ourselves. But in the end, human beings have to pull out of it and observe a more "real" world and a far future. |
