Adolescent Psychological Abuse And Neglect And Depression: Multiple Mediating Effects Of Rumination And Attention Bias Of Negative Emotional Information

Depression has become the most common psychological problem among adolescents all over the world.Psychological abuse and neglect are important risk factors for adolescent depression.The occurrence of depression is inextricably related to the cognitive process.At the same time,the experience of psychological abuse and neglect also has a profound impact on the cognitive development of adolescents.Therefore,in order to investigate the current situation of adolescent psychological abuse,neglect and depression and the potential relationship between them,starting from cognitive factors,this study explored the multiple mediating effects of rumination thinking and negative emotional information attention bias on psychological abuse,neglect and depression.This paper includes two studies.In Study 1,1028 middle school students were tested by questionnaire,using child psychological abuse and neglect scale,ruminative response scale and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale;In Study 2,the questionnaire method and experimental method were used,using the above three scales and eprime2.0 software,233 middle school students were tested.Epi Data 3.1,SPSS 23.0 and other programs were used for data processing and analysis.Through study 1 and Study 2,this study draws the following conclusions:（1）The detection rate of depression in adolescents was 38.1%.There were significant differences in gender,grade and whether they were only children;There are significant differences between adolescent psychological abuse and neglect in grade and whether they are only children or not;There are significant differences in rumination among adolescents in gender and grade.（2）Adolescent psychological abuse and neglect are positively correlated with rumination,and positively predict rumination;It is positively correlated with depression and positively predicts depression.rumination is positively correlated with negative emotional information attention bias,and positively predicts negative emotional information attention bias;It is positively correlated with depression and positively predicts depression.Negative emotional information attention bias is positively correlated with depression,and positively predicts depression.（3）rumination plays a mediating role between adolescent psychological abuse,neglect and depression.（4）rumination and attention bias of negative emotional information play a chain intermediary role between adolescent psychological abuse,neglect and depression.
