This paper takes the watercolor landscape painting Sealing Memory as the creation object.Through the description of the subject of demolition,the author expresses the nostalgic feelings for his hometown.Through this subject,the author also expresses the development of the city and the change of the society,and expresses the author’s nostalgia for the past things.It is pointed out that the creation of Sealing Memory landscape painting is based on the ruins of the author’s hometown demolition as the object of creation,The thesis consists of four parts,the first part is the origin of the creation,through the explanation of personal emotional background,the origin of the author’s creative subject matter and the significance and purpose of the study;the second part is the creative conception,through the analysis and exploration of the subject matter of Andrew Wyeth’s works,the study and reference of Tang Farrell and Dong Xichun’s picture techniques lead to the author’s own thinking;The third part is the creation process,through the detailed record of the creation process,and the author’s experience and feeling of the comprehensive material,texture attempt in the creation process,as well as the thinking of the spiritual connotation behind the works of this kind of subject matter caused by the creation;The last part is to create feeling,through the creation of Sealing Memory landscape painting,sum up the personal experience in the creation,can not blindly pursue the texture effect of the picture and abandon the spiritual connotation that the creation really wants to convey.
