| The Guzheng Concerto "Yue Guo Xi Shi" is a modern musical composition created by Zhanhao He in 2018 based on Xi Shi’s image.Composers compared Xi Shi’s life experience into five parts: "Longing"," Splashing","Palace’s resentment","War" and "Wreaking away".It describes that Xi Shi was separated from the world.The unique and racy girl,under Wu Yue’s struggle for hegemony at the end of spring and autumn,was forced to stay away from the miserable process of her hometown and denounced the war under political rights from the side.The paper carries out three parts of the study of "Yue Guo Xi Shi",and the first part introduces the text of the composer and his historical background of the "Yue Guo Xi Shi".The second part mainly analyzes the music structure,tonality,rhythm and melodic color,which are four unique creative languages to enable players to better understand the work.The third part studies and discusses the characteristics of playing from the left and right,combining performance skills with emotional expression. |
