A Study Of Zhuang Zhaokui And His Poems In The Western Regions

In the Qing Dynasty,many people were sent to the western regions because of the events,and together they promoted the development and prosperity of Western culture.Zhuang Zhaokui was demoted to Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in the year forty-five of Qianlong because of his involvement in the case of Li Shiyao.As one of the refugees from the western regions,he left behind his works such as Xu Yuan Poem Notes,Wu Ding Official Records of the City and Lao Ling Official Records of the County after various hardships.The records of the poems of western regions from Jiayuguan Pass to Ili,including the natural landscape,folk customs,history and culture of the western regions,are an important part of the poems of the western regions in the Qing Dynasty,it has high literature value.This paper takes Zhuang Zhaokui and his Western Poetry as the research object,and comprehensively discusses his birth and death years,career experiences,and Western Poetry.On this basis,Zhuang Zhaokui’s Western Poetry is systematically sorted out,and while combing the content of the theme of his Western Poetry,it also studies the documentary value of his Western Region poetry,and strives to show zhuang Zhaokui’s unique value in the Ili poetry circle of the Qianlong period.This paper consists mainly of five parts.The first part is an introduction,introducing the purpose and significance of the topic selection,research methods and ideas,sorting out the academic history,and defining Zhuang Zhaokui’s western poetry.The second part is the year of Zhuang Zhaokui’s life and death and the examination of his writings.Zhuang Zhaokui’s birth and death years were examined using the annals,local chronicles and the archival historical materials collected by the First Historical Archive of China,and then sorted out his career experience.At the same time,the general situation of his creation is elaborated.The third part examines the beginning and end of Zhuang Zhaokui’s dispatch of Yili,including the reasons for the dispatch,the appointment of Yili to care for the people and other issues,in order to restore the truth of the incident by combing through a large number of archival historical materials.The fourth part is a study of the subject matter of Zhuang Zhaokui’s Western Poetry.On the basis of the collation of Zhuang Zhaokui’s Western Poetry,the content expressed in the Western Regions Poetry is systematically summarized.His Western Region poems truly reproduce Zhuang Zhaokui’s experience since he left Jiayuguan Pass,and the poems depict more Western customs and objects and introduce daily life.The poems also record his interactions with local officials and literati in the Ili region.In the eight years of Yi,his regions south of the Yangtze River complex has never diminished.The fifth part explains the documentary value of Zhuang Zhaokui’s Western Poetry from the perspective of philology.Zhuang Zhaokui accurately recorded the stations,roads,and place names along the route from Jiayuguan Pass to Ili in his western poems,which have high geographical documentary value.His self-description of the year in the poem can also make up for the errors and omissions in the traditional literature on the issues related to zhuang Zhaokuisheng’s equality.His Western poetry also reproduces the historical facts about Ili in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty,which is of certain significance for us to understand the history and culture of Ili in the Qianjia period.In addition to the main text,the appendix Zhuang Zhaokui’s chronology supplement and biographical materials are for later scholars to study Zhuang Zhaokui and his contemporaries in depth.
