Implicit Negation Of The Construction "大 X 的"

Structure type "" X" is an expression of the objective time is commonly used in Chinese the structure type,the predecessors’ study,mainly discussed the structure type of the pragmatic functions of each component and the structure type,but for the structure type in the context of a particular language to express negative meaning,and to study the mode of negative meaning from the perspective of cognitive motivation relatively few literature,explains the generative motivation and construal mechanism of the negative meaning of this construction in combination with the relevant theories of cognitive linguistics.This paper first investigates the syntactic characteristics of the implicit negation of the construction "大 X 的",and then,based on the construction grammar theory,analyzes the semantics of each component of the construction,the construction meaning and the context meaning of the construction,and studies the semantic and syntactic characteristics of the implicit negation of the construction " 大 X 的 ".Secondly,based on corpus,the implicit negative expression of the construction "big X" is discussed,and the implicit negative function of the construction in communication is further analyzed.Finally,from the perspective of cognition,this paper analyzes the construal process and construal mechanism of implicit negation of construction " 大 X 的 " from both internal and external aspects,and studies the generating motivation of implicit negation of construction "大 X 的",as well as the asymmetry of form and meaning of the construction.By studying the implicit negation of the construction "大 X 的",we find that the implicit negation of the construction is the asymmetry of form and meaning.Our research on this construction can provide a new perspective for the study of implicit negation in Chinese and contribute to the study of the asymmetry of Chinese implicit negation system.
