Discussion About Personality Performance In Film And Television Art ——Taking The Feature Film ”Scar”as An Example

Some Western directors have openly put forward the "instrumental theory",which holds that film actors are living props to realize the director’s intention and require to mechanically obey the arbitrary manipulation of the director.They overemphasize the randomness of film performance,deny the skills of performance and deny the re creation of personality,.In recent years,some domestic directors are also affected by this trend of thought and do not pay attention to the artistic re creation of actors.For example,some directors only pay attention to the beauty of face and body when choosing actors.Some young actors also believe in the formula of "appearance plus opportunity".It ignores the creative methods,performing skills,artistic cultivation and the accumulation,experience and understanding of life necessary for performing art.This tendency has seriously affected the improvement of actors’ thought and business and the quality of story films.In this context,this paper focuses on the three ways for film and television actors to realize the character of their roles,as well as some current wrong tendencies and the cases of excellent performing artists.Combined with their performance creation in the feature film scar,this paper refines and summarizes the methods of how to shape a character role in film and television performance,and explores and considers the practicability of this skill and method Feasibility.
