Research On The Creation Of Chinese Detective Novels In The New Century

Since the new century,the Internet has become the main platform for the creation and dissemination of detective novels.The change of communication media has brought a substantial increase in the number of detective novels and brand-new creative features that are very different from the past.On the whole,Chinese detective novels in the new century are trying to create from many angles and aspects,but there are still many creative difficulties to break through.Taking the Chinese detective novels in the new century as the research object,this paper studies the Chinese detective novels in the new century from the four aspects of "overview of Chinese detective novels","creative characteristics","analysis of creative status and causes" and "breakthrough of creative difficulties".It is divided into four chapters: the first chapter first makes clear the concept of Chinese detective novels and defines the writing scope of this paper,then introduces the past and present lives of Chinese detective novels,briefly describes the development history of Chinese detective novels,and finally discusses the social value,literary value and spiritual value of Chinese detective novels in the new century;On the basis of clarifying the relevant contents of Chinese detective novels,the second chapter discusses the characteristics of Chinese detective novels in the new century from the perspectives of ideological connotation,plot characters and narrative characteristics;The third chapter selects six representative writers and their series of works in the new century,summarizes their creative characteristics,and analyzes the development status,creative difficulties and causes of Chinese detective novels in the new century in combination with their creative achievements,so as to echo with the second chapter and jointly present the overall appearance of Chinese detective novels in the new century;The fourth chapter aims at the creative dilemma put forward in the third chapter,and tries to explore the possible path of breaking through the dilemma from three aspects: text creation,writer’s ability,theoretical construction and critical practice.From the analysis of creative characteristics and creative difficulties,the development of Chinese detective novels in the new century is inseparable from the times.The emphasis on the entertainment attribute of detective novels in the new century even goes beyond its basic literary attribute.Therefore,we must not simply measure detective novels in the new century by the standard of pure literature,ignore their entertainment attributes and talk about ideas.Instead,we should optimize its literary value and give consideration to the entertainment value at the same time,so as to achieve further development in the literary ecology of the integration of elegance and customs and the mutual infiltration of elegance and customs,until we reach the ideal artistic realm beyond elegance and customs.
