Design And Research Of Narrative Illustration Based On Patients With Alzheimer’s Disease

With the aggravation of population aging in China,the incidence rate of Alzheimer’s disease is gradually rising.There may be one patient with Alzheimer’s disease in every four elderly people supported by two adults,which seriously threatens the mental and physical health of the elderly.This paper takes the group of Alzheimer’s patients as the research object,and discusses the design method of creating narrative illustration "long forgetting".This series of illustrations describes the three stages and different symptoms of patients with Alzheimer’s disease in the process of illness,popularizes the harm of the disease to the public,and causes the public to understand,empathize and care for the patient group.This paper will start from the following four aspects: the first part discusses the background of Alzheimer’s patients and narrative illustration design;The second part expounds the basic theory of narrative illustration design;The third part obtains the design elements and narrative clues through the relevant investigation and Research on Alzheimer’s disease;The fourth part combines the above basic theory of narrative illustration with the design elements and narrative clues obtained from the research,analyzes the research methods and ideas of narrative illustration in long forgotten and carries out the design practice.The above four parts of theory will support the author’s design practice.
