China’s economic development has gradually entered a new stage,with the rapid development of interconnection,and the economic society has entered a new era characterized by instability,uncertainty,complexity and ambiguity.The work happiness status of employees is worrying.In recent years,the negative behavior of employees due to work unhappiness has become a global problem,and has attracted wide attention from business managers and scholars.Task uncertainty in the working environment is further increase the staff pressure,physical health and mental health level is not optimistic,task uncertainty refers to the information needed to complete the task and resources and employees itself differences between established information resources,lead to the task cannot normal,previous studies proved that the task uncertainty will have a negative impact on work happiness,and put forward certain countermeasures,but not from the work characteristics of the fundamental factors.Based on Conservation of Resources theory and Job Demand-Resource model,this study aims to explore the negative relationship between task uncertainty and work well-being;the intermediary role of colleague trust,and the regulatory role of task interdependence.By exploring the relationship between these four variables,the research content in related fields is further enriched,and professional theory and practical reference are provided for enterprise managers to develop management strategies that take into account enterprise economic benefits and employee happiness.On this basis,this study investigated the employees through the online questionnaire survey method,338 valid samples were collected,SPSS and process software were used to analyze the collected questionnaire data,and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)Task uncertainty is significantly correlated to employees’ work happiness;(2)Task uncertainty is significantly correlated to colleague trust;(3)colleague trust and work happiness;(4)Colleague trust completely meditate relationship between task uncertainty and employee work happiness;(5)Task interdependence plays negative correlation between task uncertainty and colleague trust.This study partly enriches the influence mechanism of task uncertainty on employee work well-being.Meanwhile,the following management countermeasures are proposed according to the research results: First,managers need to reduce the negative effects of uncertain tasks and relieve the work pressure on employees;second,managers should pay attention to maintaining interpersonal relationships between organizations and improve the trust among colleagues;and finally,increase team cooperation and improve resource sharing and allocation.Through the above strategies,improve employee job satisfaction,improve the happiness index of employees,and create higher benefits for the enterprise.
