Research On The Image Presentation Of Historical Figure Documentary ——Also On Graduation Work Yijiong Zhao

As a kind of film and television art,documentary is an important image media and artistic expression form,with certain social function,cultural function and entertainment function.As one of the important types of documentaries,historical figure documentary focuses on the long history of the development of human civilization while adhering to the creation techniques of documentary.It focuses on the excavation of historical figures who have a certain influence and achievements in history,and combines existing resources such as literature and historical sites.Through the way of image to restore the life of historical figures,real and objective to show the style of historical figures.Historical figure documentary not only has the image value of reflecting characters’ characteristics and conveying characters’ spirit,but also has the unique artistic charm and humanistic value in its cultural popular science education,cultural inheritance and document recording.By observing and studying many excellent historical figure documentaries in China,the author combined with his own graduation work historical figure documentary "Zhao Yijiong" to study the visual presentation of historical figure documentaries.In the research,the author chooses the method of literature analysis,case analysis and practical creation to explore the visual presentation of historical figures in documentaries from the aspects of its visual presentation characteristics,narrative strategies,audio-visual language and so on.The author mainly studies the image presentation of this kind of documentary from the following five parts: The first part,mainly expounds the connotation,image value and development status of historical figure documentary;The second part,combined with many excellent documentaries of historical figures in Our country to discuss the characteristics of this kind of documentary’s image presentation;The third part,from the historical figure documentary documentary documentary documentary image narration,the diversification of narrative means two aspects to discuss its narrative image strategy;The fourth part analyzes its audio-visual and image-oriented strategies from the perspective of picture and sound based on the theories of audio-visual language and film aesthetics.In the last part,I summarize and reflect on the creation of historical figure documentary by taking zhao Yijiong as an example.
