| As a genre with singing and dancing as its main artistic expression,musical films have natural lyrical emotion and transcendental aesthetic pleasure.In the new historical background and industry environment after the founding of New China,it is faced with problem of repositioning and finding a new entry to the real world.From the stylized stage performances to naturalistic realistic scenes,the artistry behind the spectral presentation reflects the different aspects of the nationalization practice of musical films during the Seventeen Years period(1949-1966).On the basis of re-examining the context of film development during the Seventeen Years,this study around the relationship between theater and cinema to investigate the national forms and cultural resource of musical films.Try to answer the question: what kind of local response does musical films that with mature genre experience have in different historical and cultural contexts? It explores how the musical films in the Seventeen Years transformed and interacted between the self-discipline of song and dance art and the other-discipline of political ideology by exploring national resources,so as to achieve the multidimensional unity of individual and group,sensory pleasure and conception,revolutionary realism and revolutionary romanticism.This paper is composed of four parts: the introduction is about the background of the study,problem awareness,literature review and methodology.The second part explains the concept and connotation of musical film,outlines the development of local musical,and divided the subgenres with different degrees of programmatic song and dance: StagingMusical,integrated musical,and live musical.The third part,the main part of the paper,consists of chapters 2,3 and 4,which discuss the borrowing and transformation of the classical opera by the staging-musical films,the movement between the screen and the stage logic by the use of "interality" in the integrated musical films.And the fourth chapter,which starts from the lyrical tradition and explores the multiple meanings of landscape imagery in the "Seventeen Years" musicals,as well as the change of the persona of the lyrical subject.The final part is the conclusion,which summarizes the characteristics of musical films in terms of national forms,thinking and aesthetics,and provides ideas for the creation of current songs and dances. |
