Bach is one of the most important representatives of Baroque music.His music creation has also greatly affected the development of later European music.His music works not only embody the Baroque music style,but also play an important role in the development of later music."French Suite" was created between 1722 and 1725,with beautiful melody.BWV817 is the last one in "French Suite",with distinctive melody and various dance themes.Through the exploration of BWV817,this topic aims to have a deeper understanding of the style and artistic conception of Bach’s keyboard works in this period,so as to better grasp the works.Firstly,starting from the historical background,this paper briefly introduces the music environment in the pre-classical period and the basic situation of French Suite;Then it analyzes the creative characteristics of the French Suite BWV817,including the manifestation of the musical form structure and main tone style of the work,and then explores the embodiment of worldliness in the work;Finally,it explores the interpretation of this work by combining theory with practice.Through the exploration of the creative characteristics and performance interpretation of the French Suite BWV817,this topic aims to make some help for piano teaching,and also understand the music cultural environment at that time and the influence of foreign music culture on Bach’s creation.At the same time,in the process of research,the author also pays attention to the deeper connotation of Bach’s secular keyboard works from this work.
