| Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in online environment refers to the combination of real-time and non-real-time communication tools based on the Internet platform through live broadcast,finish the Chinese Language Teaching.Teaching anxiety refers to the temporary emotional feelings and reactions,such as resistance,avoidance and worry,which are produced in every aspect of Chinese Language Teaching.This study focuses on the Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(TCSOL)who have moved to online teaching since the outbreak of the COVID-19.Using the qualitative and quantitative methods of questionnaire survey and interview,the following three problems are studied:(1)Whether TCSOL have teaching anxiety in online environment;(2)The manifestation of online teaching anxiety of TCSOL;(3)The factors affecting the teaching anxiety of TCSOL in online environment.(4)Compared with offline teaching,the new factors that affect teachers’ teaching anxiety in online environment.Based on "Online Environment",this study screened the "Short State Anxiety Inventory"(SSAI),and referred to previous research results,the questionnaire of teaching anxiety level of international Chinese teachers in online environment was adapted,and 149 valid questionnaires were collected after the test.At the same time,a structured interview outline was compiled,and a total of 752 minutes of recording were obtained after the interview.The paper has carried on the quantitative statistics and the analysis to the above research material,and unifies the interview to carry on the thorough discussion.The conclusions are as follows:I.In online environment,TCSOL have teaching anxiety and are influenced by Teacher Factor,Learner Factor and Teaching Environment Factor.The Teacher Factor(Personal part)has a significant negative effect on the teaching anxiety level of TCSOL in online environment,while the Teacher Factor(Teaching part),the Learner Factor and the Teaching Environment Factor have significant positive influence on the teaching anxiety level of TCSOL in online environment.II.Teachers with different self-rated computer application level have significant differences in teaching anxiety,and teachers’ self-rated computer application level is negatively correlated with teachers’ anxiety level in online environment.III.The teaching anxiety level of the novice teachers is the highest,and that of the expert teachers is the lowest.The level of teaching anxiety of senior novice teachers and proficient teachers was moderate.IV.Compared with the offline environment,the online environment adds new and significant factors to teachers’ teaching anxiety,including "Teachers’ Self-rated Computer Application Level","Online Teaching Resources","Online Teaching Preparation","Online Teaching Implementation","Online teaching environment" and "Online Teaching Evaluation". |
