Research On Narrative Strategy Of Marine Fishery Documentary ——Take The Graduation Work "Small Fishing Port" As An Example

Problems such as the depletion of fishery resources have greatly hindered the development of marine fisheries.It is a good strategy to express it in the form of documentaries and arouse public attention.Among them,how to reasonably use narrative strategies to create a higher level documentary on marine fishery is the primary problem in the current creation.From the perspective of narrative strategy,By using the methods of literature research,text analysis and field investigation,Combined with my graduation work Small Fishing Port,this paper discusses the selection and application of narrative theme,narrative perspective,narrative structure,narrative time and space,and storytelling narrative techniques in marine fishery documentaries,and explores the promotion and strengthening of many elements contained in audio-visual language for narrative content and theme.In particular,it points out the creative values such as thinking about people’s livelihood and expressing culture,as well as the existing problems such as single theme and insufficient social function,so as to provide development ideas such as strengthening personnel training and media communication for the future creation of marine fishery documentaries according to local conditions.For documentaries on marine fisheries,Even if the lenses are aimed at the same subjects,But the application of different narrative strategies will convey different ideological connotations,For example,in "Small Fishing Port",even if the subjects are all the same group of fishermen,the close-up of their smiles after harvest makes us feel their heartfelt joy,but through the depiction of cabin scenes and the application of actual sound,we can see their hard work and lack of security.Therefore,at the beginning of shooting,creators are required to choose reasonable narrative strategies according to their own subjective thoughts,and strengthen the theme of the film by combining close-up,long shot and other shooting skills as well as post-production such as subtitles and commentary.In this way,the types of documentaries on marine fisheries can be richer,and the thoughts in them are deeply rooted in people’s hearts.
