The Artistic Therapeutic Function Of Tea Vessel Images In Chenhongshou’s Paintings

As a master of painting in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,the artistic features and aesthetic style of Chen Hongshou’s paintings are Nothing in Common.In the middle and late Ming Dynasty,because of the decline of his family and the change of the dynasty,his paintings had more thoughts on the existence of life.He innovated his own painting style on the basis of absorbing the former literati painting.Tea vessels make up a large proportion of Chen Hongshou’s paintings,accounting for an average of about 22 per cent of each album.His tea wares are simple and elegant in shape,elegant in style,elegant in color and simple in style.They also contain symbolic metaphors of Literati’s character,firm and tough character,and reminiscence of the past.This paper explores the relationship and effect between objects and art therapy from the aspect of expressive art therapy: Combining with the basic concept of art therapy,the paper explores the relationship between objects and art therapy from the aspect of expressive art therapy,and the relationship between objects and art therapy from the aspect of expressive art therapy,through the mechanism of psychoanalysis,phenomenology and humanism,this paper analyzes the intrinsic healing,elegant and self-transcendent Literati artistic treatment of Chen Hongshou’s tea ware images.In terms of artistic creation,the tea vessels in Chen Hongshou’s paintings can cure the painter himself from the aspects of the spiritual purification of the tea zen,the literati identity and self acceptance of the tea vessels,and from the level of artistic acceptance,the tea vessels in Chen Hongshou’s paintings meet the aesthetic needs of people’s appreciation of ugliness and curiosity,and the spiritual needs of people’s mind.Exploring the tea vessel and art therapy in Chen Hongshou’s paintings brings us enlightenment: we can study the relationship between the precious vessel civilization left by the whole Chinese nation and art therapy,which will be a huge and meaningful project.On the one hand,we can carry forward our traditional civilization and keep our culture alive.On the other hand,it can innovate the development form of traditional culture and spread China’s precious civilization in a way that the public can widely participate in,so that it can also glow with vitality today.
