Taking On The "Experimental" Of Experimental Animation ——Take The Short Film "Harmony" As An Example

The graduation project "harmony" is an experimental animation short film.Experimental animation generally refers to those animation works with strong experimental nature.The essence is to try to break through the boundary of art from the working method.Through the methods of creative practice,literature review and case analysis,this paper classifies the performance category of "experimental" of experimental animation,makes a relatively systematic combing and preliminary theoretical construction,and quotes the classic works of experimental animation at home and abroad for analysis and interpretation.This paper puts forward the author’s personal understanding of the "experimental" of experimental animation,and holds that contingency,pioneer,non standardization and immaturity are the due meaning of "experimental".Experimental animation can guide and promote the development of animation industry.This topic attempts to supplement the previous animation theory through creative practice and theoretical analysis,so as to provide reference samples for others’ animation creation and research.
