Study On The Influence Mechanism Of Government Trust On Group Conflict

Social conflicts caused by the gap between rich and poor have become the main contradiction,which greatly affect the social stability.While the government trust plays an important role,which is as the catalytic and the lubricator in the process of "Gestation to Induction to Emergence to Recovery" in group conflict.However,due to the difficulty in quantifying the impact path and the general lack of real case data,the research on the mechanism of trust based on microscopic perspective needs to be deepened.In order to quantitatively analyze the relationship between government trust and group conflict,this paper made a statistical analysis based on 695 cases of group conflict,and effectively demonstrates the negative relationship between the degree of trust and the scale of group conflict.Furthermore,three types of group conflict are summarized through typical case analysis,and the prototype is refined for the game model proposed later.Based on the above preliminary conclusions,this paper abstracted the participants’ main strategies and trust changes in the process.Firstly,without introducing trust model,an evolutionary game model of "struggle to moderate struggle to compromise" is established.It demonstrated confilict cost is the key of player’s strategy.Secondly,after introducing the trust model,an evolutionary game model based on reinforcement learning is established.Taking the group conflict incident in Hanyuan and June 28th incident in Weng’an County as examples,it is demonstrated that the change of government trust degree is an important reason for the change of mass strategy in the three stages of the outbreak in group conflict.Finally,two general models of group conflict based on "expression of interests" and"expression of dissatisfaction" were abstracted and to match with 695 cases in the database.It was found that the matching degree reaches 93.8%(41%and 52.8%respectively).Based on the above research,some suggestions for the policy such as "improving the administrative evaluation system","institutionalizing trust resources" and "strengthening the equal status of trust subjects" are put forward to improve the function of government trust in group conflict cases.
