A Study On The Political And Social Attitudes Of Asean Students In China

In recent years,China has developed rapidly in economy,politics,culture,science and technology,which has a growing influence on the world,and also greatly improved its position and role in international affairs.At the same time of China’s rise,it has also been slandered and criticized by the United States and many western countries.Therefore,on the one hand,in order to actively establish a good international image,let the world realize a comprehensive and real China,on the other hand,to promote academic exchanges and personnel training cooperation with other countries,and promote the development of education and Science in the backward ASEAN countries,China has paid more and more attention to attracting overseas students from all over the world to study and exchange in China.At the same time,based on the needs of development,ASEAN has also constantly sent overseas students to study in China to fully learn advanced scientific knowledge and systematic Chinese culture.Based on the geographical advantages,Guangxi Autonomous Region of China has accepted a large number of ASEAN students over the years,and the number of students has increased year by year.However,there are few studies on the impression of these students on China,the perception of Chinese society,and the positive publicity and promotion of Chinese image.Based on this,this study chooses the ASEAN Students in Guangxi universities as the research object,and conducts in-depth research through the ASEAN Students’ view of China,and finds that:(1)Most of the overseas students come to China from Vietnam,most of them have bachelor’s degree,most of them major in international trade,administration and Chinese language,most of them have Chinese government scholarships,and most of them are recommended by their families and introduced by their friends;(2)the ASEAN students have a comprehensive understanding of China as a whole and a detailed understanding of China’s politics,economy,culture and society;(3)the overall evaluation of ASEAN Students on all aspects of China shows positive and optimistic results,and the evaluation on all aspects of China tends to be positive,or even fully agree with the attitude;(4)the Chinese view of ASEAN students is greatly affected by education background,age and reasons for studying abroad,but less affected by country,sex,major,school and other factors.The study complements the gap in the view of ASEAN Students on China,and provides effective reference for relevant research;at the same time,it explores the attitude and cognition of ASEAN Students on China,and provides reference for the understanding and analysis of Chinese authorities on the situation of ASEAN students.
