| "The rise of China" is a key change in today’s international community,which means that borders and distances are becoming less important.It also involves the question of how China can effectively play its role in global governance and promote world peace,stability and development.Since the 1970 s,China has been joining the international community at a steady pace.Global warming has greatly enhanced the accessibility of the Arctic region,and the prominence of the geopolitical value of the Arctic has drawn more international attention from countries and regions.At the same time,the resources,scientific research,military and security value,economic value and the opportunity and interests of its country have pushed the Arctic to the forefront of world geopolitics.The Arctic issue is no longer an issue of Arctic countries and regions,but a common concern of the world.The essence of the Arctic issue is the struggle for the rights and interests of various self-help systems in the Arctic under the state of global anarchy as well as the issue of arctic governance which is of common concern to the whole world at this stage.As a near-Arctic country,China’s national interests cover a wide range and the Arctic region involves some specific national interests of China,which can only be realized in the Arctic region.China takes advantage of relevant international laws and regulations to actively participate in Arctic affairs,so as to better fulfill its national rights and interests in the Arctic region.Facing of Economic globalization,Financialization of economy and the European and American countries "new normal" and "New populism" political phenomenon,the massive Chinese nation wants to be coordinated in the changeable world relations with the North Pole and defend its interests in the arctic,it itself will have a certain political challenges,will inevitably encounter a series of geopolitical conflicts,the arctic fragile ecological environment restrict its development,global warming has intensified the complexity of the ecological environment of the arctic,the conflicts between the arctic council,the arctic political environment is complicated,and its unique social force,etc.This requires China to play its own advantages,enhance its own strength and play an active role as an international power in international politics.The "ice silk road" is an extension of China’s "One Belt And One Road" initiative in geographical space.It is also a prescription for China’s arctic governance.It is a major strategic manifestation of China’s participation in arctic governance and of great significance to China’s participation in arctic governance.This paper selects "Ice Silk Road" as the entry point and takes the theory of national interests as the analysis basis to make certain research on China’s national interests and challenges in the realization of its own national interests in the Arctic geopolitics. |
