The progress of Internet technology not only promotes the emergence of sharing economy,a new economic form,but also makes its integration with all walks of life an inevitable trend of The Times.As a fusion of Internet technology and traditional cruise taxi industry,ride-hailing has quickly become a typical representative of the sharing economy.Under the special operation mode of online car-hailing,the traditional information asymmetry is particularly prominent among the trading parties.As the main body receiving online ride-hailing services,online ride-hailing consumers are often in a more vulnerable position due to information disadvantage when facing powerful platform organizations.In view of this,the protection of the right to know is crucial to the online ride-hailing consumers.Combining with the theory of asymmetric information,to protect the consumers right to know about car placed in the network of special operation mode,points out that because of asymmetric information in the field of network about car further enlarge,resulting in adverse selection regulation is not in place,the lack of trust between different subjects cause the reason such as moral hazard,lead to consumers’ right to know protection faces many challenges.On the basis of summarizing the current situation and reasons of the protection of online ride-hailing consumers’ right to know,this paper draws on the experience of foreign legislation and effective practices,and relies on the theory of information asymmetry,through the implementation of regulation to regulate the adverse selection,the establishment of trust relationship to prevent moral hazard,and the strengthening of the relief mechanism of online ride-hailing consumers’ right to know,explores the protection measures of consumers’ right to know that are appropriate to the business model of online ride-hailing,so as to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers in the sharing economy.This paper be split into four parts:The first part is general introduction,expounds the research background and significance,organizing the related literature review,research methods,research ideas and innovation of thesis.In section two,the summary of network consumers’ right to know about car.Throughan introduction to the macro background of network consumers’ right to know about car meaning and microscopic analysis,points out that the right to know the reason as the net around one of the basic rights of consumers,root lies in the network about car operating information asymmetry between the main body involved,for this reason,asymmetric information theory is to understand and nets about car key support to consumers’ right to know.The third part is the protection status of online ride-hailing consumers’ right to know.Based on the investigation of the actual operation process of online ride-hailing,this paper points out the specific manifestations of online ride-hailing platforms and drivers’ infringement on consumers’ right to know,and makes a detailed reason analysis from the aspects of information asymmetry in the field of online ride-hailing.The fourth part is to improve the measures to protect consumers’ right to know.This part is the focus of this paper,how to clarify the principal-agent relationship between online ride-hailing platforms,online ride-hailing drivers and consumers,and how to solve the adverse selection and moral hazard is the key to protect online ride-hailing consumers’ right to know.In this paper,through the implementation of regulation to regulate the adverse selection,establishing trust relationship to prevent moral hazard,and strengthening the relief mechanism of online ride-hailing consumers’ right to know.
