Research On Government Supervision Of Personal Internet Fundraising Platform In China

Online fundraising is a new fundraising method spawned in the Internet era,and it is the third effective channel for distributing charity and charity,effectively making up for the shortcomings of China’s traditional social fundraising and social security systems.Compared with traditional fundraising,online fundraising has outstanding advantages.In particular,with the emergence and improvement of personal online fundraising platforms in recent years,the Ministry of Civil Affairs has designated 20 Internet fundraising information platforms to provide charity organizations with fundraising information publishing services.One of the first channels people who encounter major difficulties think of for help.However,as a new form of fundraising with a high usage rate and a wide range of coverage,there have been many phenomena of concealing the facts,violating crimes,and wearing online clothing for fraud in the process of personal online fundraising.The false information was revealed and pierced again and again,which caused a large amount of loving money to flow into the hands of lawbreakers,which further severely cracked down on the enthusiasm of citizens for online fundraising.Due to the lack of effective supervision of the personal online fundraising platform by the government,the fundraising information is distorted,which leads to imperfect charity legal system,unclear charity supervision responsibility,untimely information disclosure,poor supervision effect,backward supervision facilities and other issues.It has affected the credibility of relevant government departments,caused a crisis of trust,and affected the public’s correct perception of personal online fundraising platforms,which is not conducive to the development of philanthropy.Good government supervision of online fundraising platforms is the key to the healthy and rational development of online fundraising,and it is also the responsibility of government supervision.Therefore,through experimental methods and case analysis methods,this paper tries to find the shortcomings of government supervision of personal online fundraising.It attempts to improve the legal system,clarify the distribution of powers and responsibilities,establish an open system,establish an accountability system,and improve supporting facilities.Put forward thinking and suggestions to promote the healthy and orderly development of personal online fundraising.
