Cultivating Craftsmanship Among Students In Higher Education Institutions In The New Era

In March 2020,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labour Education in Schools and Universities in the New Era,which made the promotion of craftsmanship a hot topic of concern for all sectors of society.The connotation and value implication of the artisan spirit have changed with the times,and it is urgent to cultivate great artisans.However,through understanding and researching the effect of cultivating craftsmanship in higher education institutions in China,it is found that there are various factors that interfere with the cultivation effect of craftsmanship.Therefore,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to explore the study of cultivating craftsmanship among students in higher education institutions based on the perspective of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education.From the perspective of the discipline of ideological and political education innovation and development,by extensively collecting relevant materials and carefully sorting out the latest achievements,the author stands in the perspective of higher education institutions,analyzes the current situation of the craftsmanship spirit of students in higher education institutions by using literature method,contradiction analysis and other research methods,and puts forward the path of cultivating the craftsmanship spirit of students in higher education institutions in a targeted manner.In addition to the introduction,this thesis is divided into three parts,with specific ideas as follows: in the first part,the contemporary connotation and attributes of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education and craftsmanship in the context of the new era are firstly described,and then the coupling links between the two are analysed,i.e.both are based on the strategic level of talents,the integration of technical talents and the implementation of the task of cultivating people with moral character.In the second part,the author explains in depth the current difficulties encountered by students in higher education institutions in cultivating craftsmanship from four dimensions: society,institutions,teachers and students.In the third part,taking Xi Jinping’s important remarks on labour education as a guide,the author proposes countermeasures and suggestions for vocational colleges to do a good job in cultivating craftsmanship,forming a synergy in four aspects: creating a good social environment,creating a strong nurturing environment,building a moral and talented team,and striving to be skilled and excellent talents,so that the students cultivated can take up the responsibility given to them by the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The responsibility of the students will be to take up the responsibility given to them by the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
