Research On The Current Situation Of Political Participation Of College Students In The New Era And Countermeasures

The political participation of college students is conducive to making them become qualified "political people" in the new era,so as to effectively complete political socialization.As the main talent team to promote the development of the new era,universities should pay attention to cultivating the comprehensive quality of college students from all aspects,and political participation of college students in the new era is an important link to cultivate the overall development of college students.Through political participation,it can effectively improve the political attention of college students,enhance the awareness of responsibility and the overall situation,so that they can devote themselves to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Therefore,the process of political participation of college students means that college students should have positive political participation attitudes,positive political participation motives,and produce good political participation effects through legal and orderly political participation channels.By reviewing a large amount of relevant literature on political participation of college students at home and abroad,we scientifically carried out questionnaire survey work in major universities,combined with empirical research,and conducted data analysis and overall writing.Through the survey and analysis,it is concluded that college students in the new era have a strong desire for political participation,and the positive side of the current situation of political participation is dominant in general,but there are also problems: such as utilitarianization of political participation motives,singularity of political participation channels,weak sense of belief in political participation,etc.The problems are related to four aspects: society,college education,family peers and college students themselves,and the following analysis and summary are made from these four aspects,and the solutions are given.Finally,we will give solutions to the problems.Firstly,the employment pressure of college students is high and the range of political participation channels provided by the society is narrow.Therefore,by alleviating the employment pressure of college students,we actively broaden the political participation channels of college students,so as to enhance the vitality of college students’ political participation.Secondly,the education of college students’ sense of belief in political participation is limited in the Civics classroom and the practical platform for political participation is not enough,so it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students’ sense of belief in political participation in the Civics classroom and expand the practical platform for political participation on campus.Thirdly,families do not give enough inspiration and attention to political participation,and peer groups lack positive guidance for college students’ motivation of political participation,so families should pay attention to inspiration and education of political participation,and pay attention to positive guidance for peer groups’ motivation of political participation.Fourthly,the awareness of political participation among college students is not strong and the political cognition of political participation is lacking,so the awareness and cognition of political participation among college students should be enhanced.By analyzing the problems and giving reasonable countermeasures from four aspects,so as to actively guide the new-age college students to pay attention to the knowledge of political participation in China,understand the political development trend of the new era,promote the active participation of college students in the political life of the new era,and thus further improve the level and awareness of college students’ political participation.
