Research On Copyright Protection Of Short Video On Internet

Network short video,as a new media,has the characteristics of short duration,simple production and strong social attribute,which is in line with the information consumption habits of the public.However,due to the rapid editing and dissemination of short video on the Internet,everyone can participate in the creation and share quickly,which leads to frequent infringement of copyright in this industry.Based on the current Copyright Protection System in China,this paper analyzes the problems of copyright protection of short video on the Internet from the following aspects,in order to solve the difficulties in copyright protection of short video on the Internet in China,finally realize the net short video obligee benefit,the platform benefit and the public benefit balance.The introduction part studies the social background of the copyright protection of short video on the Internet,and systematizes the current situation,research direction,advantages and disadvantages of the research on short video copyright at home and abroad,it lays a foundation for the later thesis writing and gives the theoretical and practical significance to the research of short video copyright protection on the Internet.The first part defines the concept of network short video based on the traditional network video theory and industry rules,classifies the network short video according to the differences of the production subject and the production method,and analyzes its unique characteristics,then it points out the necessity of copyright protection for short video on the Internet.The second part puts the network short video in the current copyright law system,analyzes the network short video work attribute,the right content and the right attribution.The third part,based on the current situation of the copyright protection of short video on the Internet in China,analyzes the system defects and other difficulties in judicial practice.In the fourth part,the author studies the Copyright Protection System and theoretical experience of short video on the Internet in foreign countries,aiming at the core issues such as the criteria for the recognition of works’ originality,the system of rational use,and the safe harbor rules for platform exemption,the author hopes to bring new ideas to the copyright protection of short video on the Internet in China through the study of the extraterritorial system and experience.The fifth part,according to our country’s existing copyright law system,combining with the foreign system and experience,puts forward the corresponding solution to the plight of short video copyright protection.
