Study On Occupational Risk And Coping Strategies Of Prison Police

The prison police,under the supervision of social groups,the media and the network,carry out law enforcement work,and put forward stricter requirements for the comprehensive quality and ability of the civilian police.The level of law enforcement,law enforcement capacity and law enforcement norms of the civilian police in prisons are gradually developing towards a higher level.However,due to the imperfect law enforcement basis and relevant legal system,and the increasing number of prisoners in prison,the structure of prisoners is constantly changing,the means of anti-reform of prisoners are various,and the situation of prison situation is becoming more and more serious.The understanding and consciousness of the prison police do not match with the adaptation of the current situation.In addition,the prison infrastructure at the grass-roots level has not been updated in time which has put the great pressure on the prison police to improve their own quality and ability.It is precisely because of the prison police themselves and the many uncertainties in the macro environment that the prison police frequently fall into professional risk in the process of improving their own quality and ability.Not only affect their own physical and mental health and career development,but also restrict the improvement of prison management performance.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the structure of the prison police,and finds that the prison police face the disadvantages of life risk,health risk,legal risk,disciplinary risk and economic risk in their professional practice.Through combing the relevant research literature and conducting questionnaires and interviews,it is found that the reasons that cause the prison police to fall into the professional risk include the internal reasons that the quality of the police itself is not high.For example,the risk of disciplinary action caused by the improper law enforcement of the prison police in the course of their work,the risk of occupational bottleneck brought by their own low requirements,the risk of occupational failure caused by the lack of cognitive education,etc.It also includes prison management factors.For example,the unscientific prison management system brings disciplinary and economic risks to the civilian police,the low degree of attention paid to the mental health education of the civilian police in prisons causes health risks,and the extensive management of the prison political and industrial departments causes the life risks of the civilian police in prisons.In order to improve the ability of the prison police to deal with the occupational risk effectively and improve the performance level of the prison management,this paper put forward the countermeasures to promote the scientific and rule of law construction of the prison management,to promote the specialization of the prison management,as well as strengthen the ability of the prison police to deal with the professional risk,and to perfect the system of the prison police to deal with the professional risk.
