At present,with the deepening of Chinese comprehensive reform work,The Party and the masses put forward stricter requirements on the working ability of civil servants,but the township civil servant is the biggest organization in our country civil service system,they are the link between the government organization and the masses,Its ability to work and service level directly affect the implementation of the policies of government.In recent years,the performance appraisal system and methods of township civil servants in China have not yet matured.The evaluation index lack of science,the content of assessment is not targeted,and the result of assessment is lack of communication,which makes the performance appraisal of township civil servants impractical.Based on this background,this paper chooses the performance appraisal of township civil servants in G town Chengdu as the research object,through questionnaire survey to deeply analysis the present situation and difficulties of civil servant performance appraisal and put forward the optimal reasonable opinion.Firstly,this paper puts forward the research background and significance of the performance appraisal of township civil servants,through the analysis of relevant data at home and abroad,the present situation of performance appraisal is summarized,the research contents and methods of this subject are determined.Secondly,to analysis the present situation of civil servant performance appraisal in G town Chengdu,including the general situation of G town and the implementation status of performance appraisal.Through the investigation of its performance appraisal,the existing problems are analyzed,including the setting of assessment index is unreasonable,the subjective deviation of the examiner in examination process affects the objective justice,lack of communication and feedback for assessment results and not used effectively.The main causes of the problem are analyzed,first,it is difficult to set reasonable assessment indicators,second,the professional competence of the examiners should be improved,third,fail to communicate and feedback the performance appraisal results in time,and fourth,the lack of effective incentive system.Finally,puts forward some suggestions for optimizing the performance appraisal of township civil servants.This paper puts forward some pertinent and scientific suggestions on the assessment index,evaluation process and application of the results of civil servants in G town,it has certain practical and theoretical significance to improve the working ability and service level of township civil servants,this study can also provide meaningful reference for township civil servants in other regions.
