Research On The Development Of Modern Syrian Army

The modern army was established with the emergence of classes and countries,and its main responsibilities are to maintain national security,defend national territory from being violated,and resolve and handle domestic emergencies.Since the "Arab Upheaval",Syria’s domestic military revolution has undergone mutual prosperity,and the army has been prepared for hardships and has to resort to domestic militias and foreign allies.Today,the situation in Syria has become clearer and the military struggle has basically ended.Looking back at the war,insufficient development of the army was the main reason why the war lasted for many years.As early as before the founding of the nation,Syrians actively participated in various military organizations,such as the Northern Army and Levantine Special Forces,and made significant contributions to the establishment of the country.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the government began the top-level design of the army,successively established the Ministry of National Defense,delimited military zones,reorganized the field army,and the modern Syrian army took shape.Since Hafiz Assad came to power,a series of "regime army" has been established,and the Syrian army has gradually transformed into an "Alawite" army.In the 21 st century,the Syrian army is limited by the downward pressure on the domestic economy and the influence of geopolitics.Its military level has stagnated,but its political appearance has become more obvious.Summarizing the main characteristics of the Syrian army are the generational differentiation of weapons and equipment and the politicization of the military class.These two characteristics also profoundly affected the civil war process.The development of the military is closely linked to factors such as the improvement of social productivity,the transformation of economic and political systems,the progress of science and technology,the practice of warfare,and the development of military theory.After the civil war,the reform of the Syrian army must rely on the future of the country,balancing the government,militia,and allied forces,and rebuilding the modern national army.This is a major test of national reconstruction.
