A Study On The Civil Dispute Settlement Mechanism In Turpan In The Late Qing Dynasty(1875-1911)

As a symbiotic phenomenon of civilization and a normal existence of human society,disputes are like a double-edged sword to a pluralistic society.They not only challenge and destroy the existing social order,but also promote the improvement of social system and the integration and development of society by solving many social disputes.From the perspective of historical environment,under the rule of the feudal imperial power,the stability of the political situation and the obedience of the subjects have always been the focus of those in power.Xinjiang has been the intersection of various civilizations since ancient times.Its geographical complexity,ethnic diversity and cultural richness determine the inevitability of conflicts and contradictions in the region.Since the existence of disputes can not be avoided,how to resolve disputes,resolve conflicts,establish an effective dispute resolution mechanism has become an important part of the rulers to maintain their ruling authority.Secondly,through a lot of historical records left over by history,we can find that the disputes and their settlement mechanism in ethnic minority areas are also ethnic and regional because of the influence of various geographical and cultural factors.Since ancient times,countless scholars hope that by exploring and analyzing the disputes and dispute resolution mechanism in the past society,people today can better understand and solve disputes.The article is mainly divided into the following parts: the first chapter is the introduction to the purpose and significance of the research,and briefly introduces the selected time stage and regional division;The second chapter introduces the concept of civil disputes and the types of civil disputes in Turpan in the late Qing Dynasty;From the third chapter to the fifth chapter,this paper introduces the civil dispute resolution mechanism in Turpan area in the late Qing Dynasty,and demonstrates its operation mechanism in depth.It concludes how the civil dispute in Turpan area in the late Qing Dynasty was solved and how the settlement mechanism worked.The sixth chapter analyzes the advantages and limitations of the civil dispute resolution mechanism in Turpan in the late Qing Dynasty,that is,based on the relevant cases in the selected archives of Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty,this paper summarizes the types and operation mechanism of the civil dispute resolution mechanism in Turpan in the late Qing Dynasty by combing the relevant historical materials and analyzing the cases This paper analyzes the characteristics and historical value of dispute resolution mechanism,in order to provide some reference and thinking for the construction of civil dispute resolution mechanism in today’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region.
