Charts,simulation diagrams,field plane diagrams,character diagrams,simulation animations and other indicative materials are commonly used in trial practice.Materials obtained through three-dimensional printing and VR technology have also appeared in foreign courts.These new materials are scientifically called indicative evidence.Questions about access rules for schematic evidence,court investigations and review judgments,however.China’s current criminal procedure law and judicial interpretation are lacking,and academic and practical departments also lack attention.It is really necessary to systematically sort out and construct China’s indicative evidence rules under the background of substantiveization of court hearings.The first is to build access rules for schematic evidence,determine the standards of evidence carriers,the system of schematic evidence witnesses,and the system of expert auxiliaries.The second is to clarify the basic principles of the court’s investigation of sensor evidence and the specific rules of evidence,cross-proof and authentication to better play the role of indicative evidence in explaining the original evidence.Finally,the rules for judging the examination of indicative evidence include general requirements for indicative evidence,clear points of indicative evidentiary differences,the focus of category review,and relevant rules of adoption and exclusion.
