Under the background of universal two-child policy,this paper tries to explore the latest situation of work-family conflicts and work-family balance of women employees in China,and,tries to find the current influencing factors for work-family balance of women in different life cycles.Especially from the perspective of social support,we find its positive role in promoting work-family balance and alleviating reproductive pressure.Firstly,according to the investigation and analysis,the number of children has obvious correlation to work-family conflict,which poses greater challenges to women’s career development and work-family balance.China’s comprehensive two-child policy has aggravated the forecast of inequity in women’s employment and caused many women to abandon their second-child opportunities because of worries about the work-family balance.Secondly,the author selects random samples and delivers questionnaires,collects the data and uses SPSS22.for analysis.It is found that although fertility will bring serious challenges to women’s work-family balance,the necessary social support will help ease the conflict between work and family,and promote women’s work-family balance.This research shows that: 1)the number of children will significantly affect the women’s work-family balance;2)the organizational support,family support and friend support has significant negative correlation effect with both work-family conflict and family-work conflict.Sufficient social support can effectively alleviate the pressure of work-family conflict,promote the work-family balance;3)to promote the universal two-child policy implementation,this study suggests to enhance social support,so that to alleviate the individual pressure bared by women caused by fertility.This paper is closely related to the current universal two-child policy,and in a view of social support to analyze the impact on women’s work-family balance,and proposes the suggestion of social support to improve the balance of work and family.This study is partly supplemented to researches of related fields.Besides,this paper will have a positive practical significance to encourage the second child birth as well as to smooth the promotion of the universal two-child policy.
