Table tennis is a fine antagonism competitive sport. It has flexible tactics and fierce competition. As the official ball has been changed from a celluloid ball into a new plastic ball, which is stipulated by International Table Tennis Federation(ITTF),table tennis has completely entered the era of D40+.Wherein,the number of match rounds has been increased, and the stalemate stage occurs more and more frequently. In order to catch the first opportunity in stalemate stages, the ability to predict the falling point of table tennis has become more and more important. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the characteristics and rules of backhand and forehand hitting points in stalemate stages. In this paper,an research paradigm of Expert-New player is adopted,in which the female table tennis special college students are taken as the experimental object.Firstly,it is to process the recorded video on the backhand and forehand hitting in stalemate stages, which is close to the real game, according to time-space blocking requirements through video editing skills. Then,it is to programmed the edited video by E-prime2.0 and to test participants to obtain experimental data Finally, the data has been processed by SPSS.And the test results show that:(1)Time blocking has an effect on predicting the reaction of backhand hitting spot. The expert group has retrieved the first clue more quickly than the novice group, and they have a stronger ability of analyzing and utilizing the clue than that of the novice group.(2)Under time-space blocking, the prediction accuracy of the backhand and forehand hitting spot is affected by level and blocking time. The higher the level is,the higher the correct rate will be.The prediction accuracy of the expert group 160ms before hitting and 80ms after hitting is significantly higher than that of the novice group.(3)The prediction of the reaction on the backhand and forehand hitting spot is affected by the space blocking. The most obvious reaction difference of the experts and novices is found when the body is covered.Novices focus on bodies during the prediction of the backhand and forehand hitting spot, while, experts focus on arms. And novices depend on body information too much to ignore the effect information presented by other parts of the body.(4)The prediction accuracy of the backhand and forehand hitting spot under time-space blocking can be used to distinguish experts and novices, and it can be taken as an auxiliary indicator for female player selection.(5)The novice group does not concentrate enough during prediction. They are easily disturbed by other factors and their prediction accuracy is even affected.
