A Study On Eye-movement, Reaction Time In Serving Anticipation Of Table Tennis Players In College Of Physical Education

Sport decision-making is cognitive processes that in a complex sport competition scenario, under the guidance of the competitiveness in the target, predictable sports results and select the exercise behavior. While anticipation is built on the background knowledge ,expected to be the basis of events that may occur within the implicit expectations ,which participants predict future events by according to the information that currently being processed, so it clearly have indirect information processing characteristics. Table tennis skills as a typical class of every net event led project.To decide spin's nature, spin's strength, fight path of the ball and placement of the serve, need to use a variety of data to be analyzed。To judge the spin and fight path of the ball play an important role while the ball in sport competition at the service reception stage for athletes to get scores .A total of 35 participants (there were 17 speciality group participants and 18 non-speciality group participants)which come from Capital institute of physical education and Beijing Sport University. This research integrated to applied behavioral response and eye-tracking technology, to explore the eye movement characteristics of speciality group participant and non- speciality group participant's anticipation in decision-making about serving's spin and fight path of the ball, the reaction time and veracity for video segment at different time interception period. to explore the correlation between visual search mode and selective reaction .This will help to understand the selective reaction characteristics of Table Tennis athletes about the different service type, particularly have a more accurate understanding for the different time interception period;also to accumulate relative research data for the development of decision-making theory about serve of table tennis .The results show that:1,Speciality group participant has different fixation point, fixation duration of the anticipatory judgement for serving's spin and fight path of the ball in different stage than non-speciality group participant ,The Speciality group participant focused on the position of competitor's wrist ,which clapped the racket.2,Speciality group participant has different visual trajectory of the anticipatory judgement for serving's spin and fight path of the ball in different stage than non- speciality group participant ,The speciality group participant's visual trajectory is fr om trunk, head, wrist, left hand, outside the trunk, wrist of clapped the racket, ball, racket, head, wrist of clapped the racket, racket to ball.3,The speciality group interception point in time has no impacts on the anticipatory judgement for serving's spin. The speciality group participant's reaction time is shorter and the veracity is higher significant than non- speciality group participant in the Subjects were preparing to hit the ball well the first 40 milliseconds, to tthe racket hit the ball well serve for an instant, ready to hit the ball well after serving milliseconds to hit the ball well, after serving for 90 ms, well ready to serve five hours after hitting the interception of section 140 ms five time interception periods.
