| Deaf college students are a very special group. They have the dual identity of deaf and college students.Previous studies on the deaf community have shown that the hearing-impaired groups have stigmatized them, but these stigmas do not directly affect the cognition and behavior of the deaf group, but they are internalized as their own stigma Negative impact. At present, there are few empirical studies on the activation effect of implicit self-stigma of deaf college students. Therefore,it is not clear whether there is implicit self-stigma among deaf college students. The difference between them leads to the implicit self-infamy or the difference in strength? How does implicit self-stigma affect their cognition? Is there a difference in the activation of implicit self-stigma in suprathreshold and sub-threshold activation modes? What is the cognitive neural mechanism behind implicit self-stigma activation? So studying the activation effect of their selfstigma not only focuses on the mental health of deaf college students, but also provides theoretical guidance and educational suggestions on how to carry out the "destigmatization" of deaf college students."De-stigmatization" can change the perception of the public and deaf college students, increase the community’s identification with them, and promote their self-enhancement.In this study, laboratory experiments and Evaluative Priming Task were used, and Event-Related Potential(ERP)was used to investigate the implicit self-infamy of 41 deaf college students using different communication methods Activation effect, including 20 deaf university students whose daily communication is mainly sign language, and 21 deaf university students whose daily communication is mainly spoken language. In addition,in order to explore the impact of different activation methods on their implicit self-stigma activation effects, the activation methods for evaluating the activation tasks include subthreshold and supra-threshold activation. This study will provide electrophysiological evidence for the activation effect of implicit self-stigma of deaf college students.Through empirical research, the following conclusions are obtained in this paper:(1)For the study of the implicit self-stigma activation effect of blind college students, the measurement results of event-related potential techniques are more sensitive than the behavioral measurement results.(2)The ERP results of the positive word N400 effect of deaf college students who mainly communicate with sign language in daily communication show that they have implicit self-infamy.(3)The subliminal and subliminal implicit self-stigma activation of sign language group deaf college students follows different neural mechanisms: implicit self-stigma will be activated automatically in the subliminal activation mode;they will be conscious in the subliminal activation mode They suppressed their implicit self-stigma activation from the top down, but they still did more in-depth processing of negative words than positive words.(4)Deaf college students whose daily communication is mainly spoken do not have the activation effect of implicit self-stigma,and even they consciously connect themselves with positive traits. |
