Study On Cultural Confidence Improvement Of University Students In The New Era

Culture is the precipitation of social history,Also,It is the spiritual blood of a nation and a country,the cultural confidence is the affirmation and recognition of this precipitation.Without a high degree of cultural self-confidence,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As the successor of the new era and the new force to carry out the great rejuvenation mission of the Chinese nation,young college students should have a high degree of cultural self-confidence.Today,the world is facing a great change that hasn’t happened in a hundred years.The growing trends toward world multipolarization,economic globalization and cultural diversity,Chinese culture is facing both opportunities and challenges.Under such an environment,college students in the new era are not recognizing the excellent Chinese culture and blindly following the foreign culture.Therefore,through the study on the improvement of College Students’ cultural self-confidence,we can help college students establish their cultural consciousness,enhance their identification with their own national culture,improve their cultural practice,correct their cultural practice attitude,dialectically view Chinese and Western culture,recognize their responsibilities,enhance their cultural self-confidence,and strive for the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.To enhance the cultural self-confidence of college students in the new era is conducive to guiding them to maintain their original aspiration,establish correct cultural outlook and values,promote the innovation and development of Chinese culture,guide them to take the initiative to undertake the great mission of building socialism with Chinese characteristics,and to be good communicators of excellent Chinese culture.In this paper,the new era college students as the research object,analyzed the research results of cultural self-confidence of college students in the new era at home and abroad,on this basis,the comprehensive use of questionnaires method and contradiction analysis,this paper analyzes the current situation,reasons,necessity,four-dimensional drive and ways of promoting college students’ cultural self-confidence in the new era.It’s found that college students in the new era are active in the mainstream thought ofthe outstanding traditional Chinese culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,but there are also some college students who lack of depth in understanding Chinese culture,pay too much attention to western culture,cultural practice attitudes and behaviors are not positive enough.Based on the problems,this paper analyzes in detail the cultural confidence of some college students.The inadequacy is due to the imperfection of the education system,the impact of western culture on Chinese culture,the weak attraction of the existing culture to college students,and the lack of their own cultural literacy and cultural awareness.It is also clarified that improving the cultural self-confidence of college students in the new era is the key to building the core value system of socialism,coping with Western pluralistic thoughts,and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.On this basis,this paper puts forward a three-step strategy to improve the cultural confidence of college students in the new era.First,by forming a strong synergy through home education,school education and social education,Then,with the help of culture carriers,and finally expanding practical activities.
