| Background:Cognitive aging refers to the phenomenon that cognitive functions(memory,attention,inhibition and control,reasoning ability,etc.)gradually decline with the increase of age,and is a key indicator to measure the physical and mental health of the elderly.With the increasing severity of the global population aging,how to effectively delay the aging of the elderly cognitive function has become a hot spot in psychology research.Exercise and combined cognitive intervention refers to the combination of two components of exercise and cognitive intervention,which is helpful to prevent and delay cognitive aging.However,there are few studies comparing the effects of combined exercise cognitive intervention with single exercise intervention and single cognitive intervention,and there is no in-depth analysis of moderating variables for the effects of combined exercise and cognitive intervention.Based on this,this study will further explore the effects of exercise and combined cognitive intervention on cognitive function in the elderly.Objective:This study will about movement and joint research literature of cognitive intervention effects on cognitive function in the elderly as the research object,using CMA(Comprehensive Meta Analysis)software to Meta analysis,the quantitative evaluation of movement joint cognitive intervention on overall cognitive function in the elderly,executive function,memory function and the effect of exercise intervention,and further analysis the cognitive intervention,motion and joint cognitive intervention in which kind of more effective intervention method,the effect is influenced by factors which regulate.Methods:To retrieve the Web of Science,Elsevier Science,PubMed,Springer-Link,NATURE,Chinese knowledge network,such as database,search movement associated with cognitive intervention on cognitive function in the elderly,executive function,working memory related randomized controlled study,to include data extraction and quality evaluation of literature,and through CMA software for statistical analysis of data.Results:A total of 47 literatures were included in this study.The results of the Meta-analysis showed that in the Meta-analysis of the overall cognitive function of the elderly,compared with the control group,the combined intervention had a significant effect on delaying the aging of the overall cognitive function(SMD=0.22,95%CI[0.12,0.32],P<0.01).Compared with the exercise group,the combined intervention had a significant effect on the overall cognitive function of the elderly(SMD=0.26,95%CI[0.14,0.39],P<0.01).In the Meta-analysis of executive function in the elderly,compared with the control group,the combined intervention had a significant effect on delaying executive function aging(SMD=0.26,95%CI[0.16,0.37],P<0.01).In the study of the subfunctions of different executive functions,it was found that,compared with the control group,inhibition(SMD=0.49,95%CI[0.27,0.71],P<0.01),conversion(SMD=0.17,95%CI[0.06,0.29],P<0.01),refresh(SMD=0.13,95%CI[0.02,0.25],P=0.02)and complex executive function(SMD=0.37,95%CI[0.24,0.50],P<0.01).In the Meta-analysis of memory function in the elderly,compared with the control group,the combined intervention had a significant effect on delaying memory function decline(SMD=0.11,95%CI[0.00,0.23],P=0.04).Among the studies on different memory functions,only significant effects of exercise and combined cognitive training on logical memory(SMD=0.17,95%CI[0.03,0.20],P=0.01)were found in the elderly compared with the control group.Conclusion:(1)Compared with the control group and exercise group,exercise combined with cognitive intervention can more effectively delay the aging of the overall cognitive function of the elderly,and the effect of the combined intervention is affected by intervention period and study quality and other factors.(2)In the study of executive function in the elderly,the movement and cognition has a statistically significant difference between intervention and control group,the effect of the combined intervention is influenced by factors such as cognitive state,intervention cycle,and compared with control group,the movement associated with cognitive inhibition of intervention for the elderly,transformation,refresh and complex executive function effect is more prominent.(3)In the study of memory function in the elderly,compared with the control group,the combined intervention of exercise and cognition has a more significant effect,and this effect is only found in the logical memory. |
