As the base for cultivating college students’ innovation and research capabilities,the laboratories in colleges and universities has brought vitality to the development of science and technology.However,in recent years,a number of laboratory safety accidents has exposed the disadvantages of traditional management of hazardous chemicals,especially in those hazardous chemicals laboratory.As there are various kinds of chemical hazardous substances,the researchers usually only needs to apply few amount of these substances and thus it is of great necessity to solve problems of managing and store these chemicals.Moreover,as many hazardous chemicals themselves are of corrosive characteristics,harmfulness and uncertainties,it indeed had certain risks during the usage of these chemicals.As a result,it is critical for the problem of safe management about hazardous chemicals.This paper has introduced a kind of built-in laboratory hazardous chemicals management system to reduce the risks of using chemicals during experimentation,thus improving the abilities of those colleges and universities to monitor and manage laboratory hazardous chemicals.This system is mainly composed of the Web page,terminal and the hazardous chemical cabinet,with the Web page writing in JAVA language and structured in the common MVC three-layer,including pages of manager back-stage management system,and the usage pages for teachers and students.The manager can allocate the account and the students and teachers thus can log in with their authorized accounts to apply for the usage of hazardous chemicals.In addition,students and teachers need to register the information of their faces and fingerprints on the scene of the security cabinet after obtaining the account,so as to have access to unlock the cabinet.The terminal is took the STM32 as the main controlling module,utilized fingerprint identification and face identification as the “two lines of defence” of the safety cabinet,and it is realized functions by BIOSEC fingerprint module and Open MV.By applying the STC89C52 RC as its auxiliary module and combing with HX711 and MFRC522,it has been realized the collection of the quality and name information of hazardous chemicals.Besides,in order to realize the remote communication between terminal and Web server,the ED2 module shall be implemented to achieve Ethernet communication in this system.While it has also set up safety function with SW-1801 P alarming sensor and SIM900 A,which means that once there’s any illegal touching,the system will send message to the manager.In a word,this kind of laboratory hazardous chemical management system has optimized the traditional method of chemical management and solved problems of inconvenient manual monitoring,thus providing a kind of management mode with high safety and simple manipulation to manage laboratory hazardous chemicals in the laboratory.In this paper,the author introduced the main functions’ design and implementation process of the management system for dangerous chemicals on the hardware and software in detail.According to the function of each part,the functional testing shall be conducted respectively,and the system’s comprehensive operation shall be narrated.The test shows that the hazardous chemicals management system conforms to the original design intention and the function is normal.To some extent,this system has greatly improved the interaction and usage experiences of the managers and the users,thus realizing distant controlling and real-time monitoring.
