| The mathematics concept occupies the key position in the high school mathematics teaching.Influenced by the traditional teaching methods,the teaching of mathematics concepts in senior high schools mostly adopts the way of giving definitions first and then explaining and proving by teachers,which is not quite consistent with the purpose of making students recognize and feel the concepts advocated by the curriculum standard.Through the investigation,it is found that students in the actual classroom are generally not ideal in the study of mathematical concepts,learning interest is generally not high.According to the above reality,it is not only of great theoretical significance,but also of great practical value to conduct an in-depth investigation and understanding of the current situation of students’ conceptual understanding and find a teaching method suitable for the concept of solid geometry in senior high school.Geometry Sketchpad is a dynamic assistant teaching software,and APOS theory is a guiding theory reflecting the new concept of mathematics concept teaching,which is suitable for the teaching of mathematics concept.Therefore,based on APOS theory,this paper studies the teaching design and practice of solid geometry concept in high school by using geometry Sketchpad.Firstly,the research direction and development focus of APOS theory in mathematics concept teaching at home and abroad were summarized through literature research method,and the feasibility of APOS theory in guiding solid geometry concept teaching was discussed.Secondly,from the perspectives of teachers and students,through questionnaire survey and interview,this paper explores the current classroom teaching status of the concept of solid geometry in high school mathematics with four dimensions of teaching interest,attitude,method and effect as the framework.Next,according to the deficiencies found in the previous status survey and the demand of teaching at the present stage,this research carried out the teaching design of high school solid geometry concept based on APOS theory.It took four stages as the basic framework.First,it created a real life situation to adapt diversified exploration activities to stimulate students’ interest and arouse students’ thinking.Secondly,guide students to try to organize mathematical language and form mathematical concepts independently.Third,the teacher exemplifies the example,the student imitates the practice,through the discrimination positive and negative examples to deepen the understanding;Fourth,consolidate the model,establish the diagram,and achieve the purpose of applying and expanding the concept through the practice of variation.Finally,using the comparative experiment to put the teaching design into practice,the results show that the experimental class is obviously better than the control class,and the knowledge points are more firmly mastered.It shows that the teaching design of solid geometry concept based on APOS theory is beneficial to the improvement of students’ learning interest and achievement.In addition to the above advantages,the results show that this study also has the advantages of strengthening theoretical support,providing practical basis,activating the classroom atmosphere,enhancing the consciousness of inquiry,optimizing the understanding of concepts,and improving academic performance. |
