| The period when children enter kindergarten life from family life is the first step of their interaction development.During this period,the quality of children peer interaction affects the establishment of good peer relationship among children,and also has great influence on their social interaction ability in the future.Childhood playmates play an important role in their growth,and many related theories of psychologists also point out that peer interaction is the most needed human interaction in the growth of children.At the same time,relevant requirements for children peer interaction and social development in the goals and contents of social education are also put forward in the Guidelines for Kindergarten Education,it can be seen that peer interaction is of great importance to children’s growth.At present,the same-age class is the most important class in the kindergarten in our country,and mixed-age class has attracted more and more attention.On the value of mixed-age class,researchers have drawn out the most conclusions that mixed-age class can promote children’s social,cognitive,emotional and other aspects of development,and peer interaction is an important way for children’s socialization development,and has an irreplaceable role which adults can’t play.This study selects 30 children in a mixed-age class in a Montessori Kindergarten in Nanning as the main research objects,and the writer observes and records their peer interaction behaviors in plain description,and sorts out,summarizes,analyzes the collected data.The result shows that the frequency of peer interaction in different activity situations is different,and there are also some differences in interaction strategies,methods and results.Through observation,analysis and summary,it is concluded that the characteristics of children peer interaction in mixed-age class are as follows: the identity of participants in children peer interaction changes with the change of activity situation;children making friends shows universality and diversity;the older group has more interaction with the younger group and the middle age group,while the middle age group has less active interaction with other age groups.children peer interaction tends to be of the same sex,but the opposite sex interaction is less.At the same time,several problems in the peer interaction of mixed-age children are also found out in the research,such as the introverted children are less likely to initiate and accept peer interaction;teachers don’t guide children peer interaction fully;children peer interaction conflicts occur frequently in different activity situations.Finally,this study analyzes the existing problems and their influencing factors on the basis of understanding the current situation of peer interaction among children of mixed-age class,and puts forward reasonable suggestions from the three aspects of children,teachers and kindergartens in order to promote good peer interaction among children. |
